"Israeli dancing helps kids feel Jewish in their bones not just their minds.

Israeli folk dance is a recreational dance form that has a legitimate place in every Religious School curriculum.  It is not so much the dance of Israel as it is the dance of the people from Israel.  It represents the cultural heritage of our people.

Israeli dance presents an opportunity for multiple intelligence learning.  It is an aspect of informal learning coming out of the Jewish camping movement and enables students to acquire Judaic knowledge through kinesthetic learning.  An ongoing Israeli dance opportunity is a lesson that sticks.

Donna's preschool Israeli dance classes focus on using young bodies to move creatively to Jewish music.  For older students, Donna’s Israeli dance technique is unique because she incorporates Judaic lessons, Hebrew vocabulary, Israeli history, and pride of Judaism into every dance she teaches.
